Why Diam Corks?

When I pulled out my first Diam cork a few years ago, I was wondering what the heck it was. It felt like real cork but it was amalgamated. So I quickly thought, oh no this is a cheap cork... My wine is most likely corked. But then I took a sniff of the cork and it was fine, pour a glass, no problem! I then started to see more and more of these suspicious amalgamated corks in bottles of all prices, from the $15 dollar range to the $75+ big spender bottles (I know wine can cost a lot more but for most of us, myself included, 75 bucks is a good night!) So I finally decided to google the tiny little logo seen on the cork. Which took me to their site where I learned more about their process and how the guarantee TCA (Cork taint) free wines! I was flabbergasted! I then thought, this is just a marketing gimmick so I started to ask around, and sure enough every winemaker I spoke to said they have had a 100% success rate. So with that being said, I decided to use Diam going forward! I can't wait to share with you the awesome corks that Diam was able to brand so perfectly for us!
